It features a pre-filtering strainer basket and a double-reinforced 15-inch molded tank capable of holding up to 77.2 pounds of sand.

Compatibility and Filtration Speed: The pool sand filter is compatible with polyester pool filter balls, offering a stronger adsorption capacity and faster filtration speed compared to traditional filter media. The pump delivers a flow rate of 2,250 gallons per hour, with a system flow rate of 1,680 gallons per hour (using 77 pounds of sand) or 1,840 gallons per hour (using 2.2 pounds of filter balls). Complete filter a 9,200-gallon pool in under 5 hours. Please note, sand and filter balls are not included in the package.

Advanced Filtration: The pump incorporates a 7-way multi-port valve for easy use and quick back-washing. The modes include: Filter, Backwash, Winter, Recirculate, Closed, Rinse, and Waste. The recirculation mode allows circulation of water without passing through the sand or filter balls, simplifying your chemical treatment process for pool water.
